Coimbatore, Oct 31: Baskar Leo, a 42-year-old man has alleged that he was brutally beaten up by Muneswaran, Inspector of Singanallur Police Station who also forcefully made him sign a land document amounting to Rs.1 crore.

Sometime ago, Leo had borrowed Rs. 16 lakh of money from a money lender Mr. Palanisamy to develop his business. Due to an unexpected business lost, Leo struggled to repay the loan to the lender.

Leo alleges that he was tortured physically and verbally by Singanallur Police Inspector, Muneswaran and that he was incited to do so by Palanisamy. He also alleges that the Inspector along with few other cops dragged him to the streets and spanked him several times.

On June 27th, the Inspector took me to a nearby Marriage Hall and thrashed for the whole night and forcefully made me sign a land document amounting to a Crore, Leo has stated in his complaint.

Leo shockingly reveals in his complaint that the Inspector has mentioned about the involvement of Mrs. Lakshmi, Deputy Commissioner in this saga.

Leo has also added that the Inspector claims to have his Wife under his control and has locked up his Office too.
