Coimbatore, Oct 29: 3d printing low cost housing for homeless people in 24 hours was the major highlight of the presentation of AplusR Co-Founder architect Chenthur Raaghav at TEDx Vienna about Smart City Coimbatore.

According to a press release, Mr.Raaghav said "3d printing with a portable robot in Spain helped us visualise this concept of producing low cost, climate responsive design to reduce energy costs".
Providing shelter to homeless people and people in rural districts with 3d printing technology, addresses issues on air pollution and noise which has a major impact on global warming.

Delineating the important points that he had presented there, he touched upon the topic of addressing the issue of global warming through architecture.
