Coimbatore, Oct 28th: A couple along with their twin kids are alleged to have committed suicide by hanging.
C.Senthilkumar (38) and his wife V.Sudha (36) along with their 11-month-old twin girls Vivitha and Vichitha hanged themselves at Kurundhankadu, Avinashi, on Friday (Oct 27).
Sources say that Senthilkumar's jobless state often resulted in quarrels among the couple. Sudha was very much hurt as she was the only breadwinner of the family. She was working as a teacher in a Government Primary School at Kuruthangattupudur, Avinashi.
On Friday, Sudha had called over phone her mother who lives at Mettupalayam and complained about her distraught situation and was in an inconsolable state. Sudha's mother promised to come in person and discuss the issue in detail. Thereafter Sudha's phone became "unreachable".
The next day morning, as promised, Sudha's mother came down to Avinashi to meet Sudha. She was shell-shocked to see the entire family hanging.
An RDO inquest was also ordered into the incident as the couple had been married just three-years ago.
