Coimbatore, Oct 28: City-based, K.U. Sodalmuthu and Co Pvt Ltd has won the "Regional Export Award" from the Engineering Export Promotion Council in recognition of their achieving highest export performance during the year 2015-16 in the category "Special Trophy - Medium Enterprise".
Mr A.C. Moideen, Minister for Industries, Sports and Youth Affairs, Government of Kerala, gave away the award at a function held recently at Thiruvanathapuram to Mr K.S. Balamurugan, Managing Director of Sodaltech Group of Companies who manufacture paper conversion machinery and export to around 60 countries.
Mr Balamurugan was elected for the third consecutive term to the Tamil Nadu State Council of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). for the term 2017-18.
