Motorcycle campaign by youngsters on farmer welfare.


Seven youths from Chennai are on a Motorcycle campaign to 12 districts in support of the farming community.

Problems like severe drought and debt are being faced by Farmers who feed us every day. We fear, that agriculture will be destroyed and we might have to depend on other states or countries for our food has risen among youth today.



Seven youngsters Kursheed Hussain, V Suresh, S Purushoth, B Andrew, B Imran, Oswal D smith, Hussein and Raja, who are employed in various private companies in Chennai, went to 12 districts on Motorcycle to create awareness on the issues faced by farmers and to garner support for them.

Starting their journey on Oct-22nd, they have planned to complete their campaign by November 2. The youth, who have travelled 900 kilometres so far, reached Mettupalayam on October 26. They were cheered and welcomed by the members of the Kovai Biker's club along with the youth of Coimbatore.



Imran, who is part of this rally, has mentioned that all the expenses incurred for this campaign were borne by the 7-member team. He said that people should stop bargaining with farmers. Such bargaining will worsen the state of farmers to a great extent.

Furthermore, the campaigners pleaded that agriculture should be included in the curriculum.
