Last date for remitting water deposit extended till 30th November.

The Corporation has announced that the last date for payment of additional deposit for water connections has been extended to 30th November, 2017. 

In  a press release it said that as announced earlier, water connections installed prior to October 2013, will hereon entertain an additional deposit of Rs. 4,000/- for residential purposes and Rs. 7,000/- towards commercial purposes. While the last date for remitting the additional deposits was originally announced as 15th September, the Corporation has now extended it to 30th November, 2017.

The wards that have been added newly to the Corporation will pay additional deposits as follows:

Ward No: 32 in Vilankuruchi - Rs.4000 for residential and Rs.9000/- for commercial purpose.

Ward No: 34 to 36 in Kalapatti, Ward No: 18, 19 of Veerakeralam, Ward No: 1 to 4 in Thudiyalur, Ward No: 27 and 42 in Chinnavedampatti, Ward No: 28 to 31 in Saravanampatti and Ward No: 28 and 43 in Vellakinar will have to pay Rs. 2000/- towards residential and Rs. 5000/- for commercial purposes.

"Remittance of additional deposit can be made at the Collection centres of Zonal offices on all working days between 9 am to 4 pm. And, those residents who have obtained water connection prior to October, 2013 and still not received intimation for additional deposits through post are requested to approach the zonal offices", the press release said.
