The Special Court for Bomb blast cases, Coimbatore, convicted a 36-year-old woman for causing the death of an old man and awarded her life sentence.
Irudhayaraja and Palaniammal (36) were living in a rented house at RS Puram. The couple got in a tussle with the house owner, Ramamurthy (62) after he had asked them to vacate the house. In a fit of rage, Palaniammal pushed Ramamoorthy into a sewage. Ramamurthy later succumbed to the injuries. A case was registered against Palaniammal at RS Puram Police Station on October 25, 2016.
