VCK petition against BJP leader

Some leaders of the Viduthalai Chiruthaikal Katchi (VCK) have submitted a petition to the Coimbatore Police Commissioner requesting him to initiate action against Dr.Tamilisai Soundrarajan, State President of the BJP, for her alleged "derogatory remarks" against the VCK chief Thol.Thirumavalavan.

The petition alleges that the BJP leader had made derogatory remarks against Thirumavalavan in connection with the 'mersal' movie.

They have also alleged that Dr.Tamilisai had falsely accused Thirumavalavan of usurping the land for the party office. "This is totally baseless," they submitted.

While urging the Commissioner to initiate legal action, they announced that they might be forced to resort to an agitation if the BJP leader failed to withdraw her remarks against Thirumavalavan.
