A special camp will be organised by the Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board (TNSCB) on Oct 23 (Monday) for receiving applications for the houses to be constructed under a Central programme titled "Housing for all".
According to a press release, all those economically weak residing in the Coimbatore Corporation limits can benefit by pledging their property deed or patta.
The Centre and the State Government would povide Rs.2.1 lakhs as subsidy for constructing a house measuring 300 sqft. The subsidy would be paid into their bank accounts in four instalments.
Those interested in becoming the beneficiary of this scheme are welcome to participate in the camp to be conduced at the Coimbatore Divisional Office of the Tamil Nadu Slum clearance Board.
