Burglars decamped with Rs.1 lakh worth of crackers from a shop near Vellalore on the wee hours of Sunday.
Ashok Kumar, of Mahalingapuram near Vellalore has set up a temporary cracker shop for Diwali.
When he returned to the shop this morning he found the shop burgled and Rs.1 lakh worth of crackers stolen.
Podanur police have registered a case.
