Celebrate cracker- free" Green and Clean Diwali" and win prizes from City Corporation.


Exhorting Coimbatore denizens including residential communities, apartment dwellers, students and others to celebrate “Green and Clean Diwali” the city corporation has announced that prizes would be distributed to those who have celebrated the festival without polluting the environment by bursting crackers.

“The residents and students can upload the photos and videos of the cracker- free Green Diwali celebrated by them on a dedicated WhatsApp no 8190000400 till October 23. 

The best entries on Green Diwali celebrations would be given prizes.” CCMC Commissioner K. Vijayakarthikeyan said.
