A special police team arrested Ravichandra Babu (27) of Saibaba colony, a cannabis peddler, and seized 1.1 kg of cannabis from him.
Acting on a tip off that cannabis is peddled across the city including sale points near colleges to customers, the Race Course police team arrested Ravichandra Babu.
Babu is alleged to have been engaged in vending cannabis in various parts of the city to college youth and others for the past few years.
