NSS volunteers of Sri Krishna College of arts and science and Kovai Kulangal Padhukappu Amaippu team have jointly planted 800 Palmyra seeds alongside the Kuniamuthur water channel.
"Palmyra (Panai in Tamil) is drought- resistant native variety of palm, which is an indigenous plant and suited to hot climatic conditions prevailing in Tamilnadu.
