Bharathiar University renews MoU with TCS

Bharathiar University, based in Coimbatore, has renewed its MoU with TCS BPS today.

The first phase of MoU was signed in 2013 with four autonomous colleges offering Under Graduate course in Business Process Service (BPS). Students of the course have also been placed in TCS. The renewed MoU has three more colleges offering the UG programme in BPS.

For non-autonomous colleges, the university will offer two courses like Campus-to-Corporate, Finance, and Accounting for BPS to increase the relevance of existing programmes.

Under Affirmative Action, TCS also offers free employment coaching in the 

affiliated colleges. Online support service will also be available for the students who will enroll in these programs, it said.

The MoU was signed by TCS BPS vice President (Organisational Effectiveness), Dr. Rajiv Noronha, and the university Registrar (In-charge), P. Kolandaivel in the presence of University vice chancellor, A Ganapathi.
