Bharathiar University invites applications for MA English courses

Applications are invited for admission to M.A English programme offered by the Department of English and Foreign Languages, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore.

Admissions will be given based on the scores in the UG marks, and the scores in the entrance exams to be conducted in the fourth week of May. The entrance exam will be based on the NET/SET pattern.

There will be sixty questions, carrying one mark each. There is no negative marking. Candidates have to answer in the computer coded OMR answer sheets. Out of 100 percent, 40 percent will be set aside for the UG scores, and 60 percent marks will be taken from the entrance exams scores.

The programme offered by the university is very popular. The department offers a future-ready learning atmosphere providing high speed internet, WiFi, smart classes and digital resources.

Two exclusive language laboratories, one for English and the other for French, German, Japanese and Chinese, help the students to improve their language skills.
