KMCH offers special prices on breast cancer screening, as a part of World Breast Cancer Awareness Month.


"Lumps in breasts at initial stage that cannot be detected through self examination however can be detected with mammogram. Screening  enables to find out even the smallest changes in the breast. Breast cancers is  completely curable when detected early. With the advent of medical technologies, such  lumps can be removed surgically without removing the breasts", said the Doctors at KMCH's Special Camp for diagnosing Breast Cancer.

As a part of the 'World Breast Cancer Awareness Month', a month-long screening camp is conducted from 3rd to 31st October by KMCH. At this camp, digital mammogram worth Rs.2750/- is offered for just Rs. 999/-. Similarly, hi-tech ultra sound scan worth Rs. 900 is offered for just Rs. 450/- these tests and screening enable early detection of breast cancer.

Speaking about the awareness initiative, Dr. Nalla G Palaniswami said, “KMCH has been conducting breast cancer camp every year in order to create awareness among the general public. The camp offers an opportunity for women to get the benefits of hi-tech screening and free consultation throughout this month.”
