Demanding to bring dengue treatment under the purview of Chief Minister’s Health scheme in the Tamilnadu, Tamilisai Soundarrarjan, BJP State President said that the state is reeling under the onslaught of dengue fever, and it is one of the three states where the incidence has reached epidemic proportions.
Tamilisai Soundarrarjan, who briefed the media at the city airport said that the anti-dengue measures adopted by the Health department are said to be inadequate if the bourgeoning number of fresh cases and deaths being reported every day are any indication
“The state government should seek help from the Centre to contain dengue fever, which is claiming precious lives all over the state, but the state government has not contemplated the move” Tamilisai said.
While opining that the V.K. Sasikala’s parole would not bring any political changes in Tamilnadu, she said, the organ transplant has become a lucrative trade and touts are being actively engaged in organ trade in the state.
“While the organ transplant carried out in Government Hospitals has come down, it is thriving as a lucrative business in private hospitals, which shows that something is fishy and needs to be done to check this evil practice” Tamilisai noted.
While expressing solidarity behind the Central Government press workers, which is facing closure in Coimbatore, she said that no one should lose their job, but they might get transferred to other printing units run by the government.
While condemning the ill treatment meted out to M. K. Stalin, DMK working President and the Opposition leader at the swearing in ceremony of the new Governor at Raj Bhavan she said that BJP has condemned this bad precedent set by the ruling AIADMK.
