Champion of differently-abled who is fighting for "Driving License" for his brethren felicitated

Chinan, a champion of the differently-abled who embarked on 16,000 kms odyssey from Kanyakumari to Kashmir demanding that driving license be issued for the differently-abled sections of the socity in the country was felicitated in the city by his brethren in Coimbatore.



Chinan, a native of Thrissur in Kerala and a differently-abled himself had embarked on his campaign tour in his two wheeler on July 30 and extensively toured India and the neighboring countries like Bhutan and Nepal and his journey culminated on September 20 with the sole purpose of creating awareness among the public about the viability of issuing driving license to the differently-abled segment in the population.

The campaign has proved that the differently-abled could ride a two wheeler without any problem. While certain states in country have stated issuing driving licenses to differently abled population, states like Kerala and Tamilnadu are  yet to catch up with the rest of the nation “said a differently abled in the city, who greeted their champion with flower bouquets.
