TN Governor Banwarilal Purohit promises to keep Governor's office away from political considerations.

77-year-old Banwarilal Purohit, who assumed charge as the 25th Governor of Tamilnadu has assured the people of Tamilnadu that his functioning would be beyond political considerations and it would have transparency.

Greeting the people of Tamilnadu with a positive message of helping the growth story of Tamilnadu, the seasoned politician from Maharashtra said that he would use his influence in Delhi to get fund allocations for developmental projects.

"All the decisions which I am going to take, small or big, there will be no political consideration. The governor's office is above politics. Everybody can be rest assured. All the decisions will be taken on merit" the new TN Governor said.
