Last night, a herd of elephants entered the residential areas near Marudhamalai Road. The herd roamed through the streets of Indira Nagar which is close to the foothills of Marudhamalai.
After a brief time, the herd left into the forests behind Bharathiar University causing no property damage in the residential area.
