District Collector T.N.Hariharan inaugurated the Swachata Pakhwada (Clean and Green Village Campaign) in Mavuthampathi panchayat in Madukarai Panchayat union limits.

The Collector wielded garden implements and cleared harmful Parthenium hysterophorus weeds, in the open area.

Roopan Shankar Raja, Project officer (DRDA) and Padmavathi, Assistant Director (Panchayats) took part in the clean and green campaign of rural areas and villages in the district and engaged themselves in clean up drive of Parthenium weeds.
