Cleanliness drive at Muthannan Kulam mark Gandhi Jayanthi celebrations in the city.

As a mark of tribute to the Father of our Nation, a massive cleanliness drive was organised at the Muthannan Kulam also known as Kumarasamy Kulam in the City. 

The volunteers of NGO Kovai Kulangal Padugappu Amaipu, EFI, State Bank Of India, City Corporation, Rotary Club, District Legal Forum jointly cleaned the premises of Muthannan Kulam as a part of the Swachh Bharat Mission. 



Loads of trash including paper wastes, plastic bottles, covers, worn out beds, clothes and furniture's that were discarded along the shores of the water body were removed.



Committing to the initiative, State bank Of India has promised to support with equipments for the next eight weeks of cleaning activity.
