City Traffic Police announce traffic diversion in the city for tomorrow.

In connection with the traditional "Parasakthi" festival of Sri Ramalinga Sowdeswari Amman Temple, the City Traffic Police have announced traffic diversions. for tomorrow, 30th September. The City Commissioner has requested the people to co-operate to this temporary traffic diversion and aid in smooth transit of traffic.

Traffic diversion:

The procession will commence at 5:30 am from Ramachandra Road. During that time, the vehicles travelling from Sukrawarpet towards Poo Market will have to use Gandhipark, DB Road to reach Mettupalayam Road. 

As the procession reaches Sukrawarpet, those vehicles that are headed towards Sukrawarpet from old flyover will have to divert at Marakadai area and enter Town hall and head towards Vyshal Street, Gandhipark.

Vehicles from Perur headed towards Chetti Veedhi and Raja Street will have to divert at Sivalaya Sandhipu and take left at Selvapuram Higher Secondary School and reach Ukkadam Bypass. From Ukkadam, they will have to reach the Sungam Bypass and use the West Club Road to travel to other destinations. 

Those vehicles that are headed towards Oppanakara Street from Ukkadam are requested to use Sungam Bypass Classic Towers road and reach Railway station and then commute to other places.

As the second set of processions reach Alagesan Road in Mettupalayam Road, those vehicles headed from NSR Road and ARC Junction towards Vada Kovai will be diverted to Sivanandha Colony.

Vehicles headed from Poo Market towards Mettupalayam Road will have to take the Avinashilingam University road and use the 4th cross of NSR Road to reach Mettupalayam Road.

When the procession reaches RG Street, vehicles headed from Sukrawarpet towards Poo Market will be diverted from the Sukrawarpet Junction into Gandhipark road and use DB Road, Cowley Brown Road to each Mettupalayam Road.

As the procession reach VCV layout, vehicles ion Brooke Bond Road will not be allowed tob turn right into Devanga High School road. Instead vehicles from Brooke Bond Road should use the old flyover.
