Hundreds of students of Government Arts and Science College conducted an awareness rally on 'Responsible Tourism' to commemorate the World Tourism Day that is celebrated today, the 27th September.

District Collector TN Hariharan flagged off the rally at the college campus today. The students who were from Tourism and Environment department of the College led their Head of the department, Prof Saravanan held placards indicating the importance of responsible tourism.

The students marched through the busy junctions like District Collectorate, Combined Court Complex sensitizing the public on conserving our environment and how important it is to be a responsible tourister. The rally came to an end at the start point.
