As many as 40 passengers including 20 women sustained serious injuries when two buses collided head on near Annur government bus depot.
According to police, the TNSTC bus bound for Sathy collided with the private bus, coming in the opposite direction.
The 30 odd injured have been admitted in Annur Government Hospital and 7 persons seriously injured have been admitted in Government Medical College Hospital.
