K. Selvarasu has taken charge as the Planning Director, District Rural Welfare Dept of Coimbatore District. He has previously worked in the same position in Perambalur and as Assistant Director of Rural and Panchayat Welfare Department in Villiupuram, Karur and Sivagangai Districts.
