Second season begins in Ooty; over 70 varieties of flower to greet visitors.


With the onset of second season (September-October) in Ooty, the most-sought Botanical Garden in Ooty is all set to enthral the visitors with over 70 varieties of flower varieties. 

In over 10,000 pots flowers like Dahlia, Delphenium, Inca Marigold, French Mari gold, Begonia, Daisy, Calendula, Pentas, Chrysanthemum, Balsam, Primula, Verbina, Aster are being grown for the second season.

"Totally over 2.5 lakh flower-bearing plants havWe WeWebeen grown for this season. Hence, a visual treat awaits the visitors this season, September-October. We expect close to 3 lakh people to visit the garden this season" said District Collector Innocent Divya who declared open the Flower show on 23rd, September.
