Cancellation of trains between Salem and Mettur Dam

Due to construction works for a minor bridge between Omalur and Mecheri Road in connection with the doubling of railway track between Omalur and Mettur Dam, on 22.09.2017 (Friday), the following changes are made in operation of trains between Salem and Mettur Dam

1.Train No.56103 Mettur Dam – Salem passenger is fully cancelled.

2.Train No.56100 Erode- Mettur Dam Passenger is partially cancelled between Salem and Mettur Dam and it will be operated between Erode and Salem only. 

3.The Slip Coaches of Train No.11063 Chennai Egmore-Salem Express bound for Mettur Dam (S-9 and one General Second Class Coach) are being cancelled, between Salem and Mettur Dam. They will terminate at Salem itself. However, in return direction, these coaches will be attached to Train No.56101 Mettur Dam-Salem Passenger and will be attached to Train No.11064 Salem-Chennai Egmore train.
