The district unit of DYFI staged a fasting agitation against NEET demanding their three point agenda including a CBI probe be ordered into the death of Ariyalur Anitha
"The government should revoke NEET, remove education from the concurrent list and make it a state subject and order a judicial inquiry in to the death of Anitha, a brilliant student who died in duress" the students said.
“We would continue to fight for the rights of Tamilnadu students till our demands are met” the DYFI cadres said.
