The train ticket reservation counter facility which is functioning in Sub Post office in Pappanaickenpudur would continue to offer the advanced booking services to train passengers as Southern Railways has renewed the MOU signed with the India post to one more year.
Reservation of train tickets including Tatkal, advanced booking and current booking could be made in the special counters functioning in limited post office in Tamilnadu including Pappanaickenpudur.
“The residents of Pappanaickenpudur and neighboring areas are highly benefited by the service, and there is a huge demand for Train ticket reservation counter functioning in the post office. People start arriving from 9 am onwards, the extension of service would be appreciated by the public” said the Post master of Pappanaickenpudur.
