Police recover decomposed body from a house near Saravanampatti.

Police recovered the decomposed body of one Sivabalan from his house in Annanagar kuttai near Savarampatti.

Police said that Sivabalan, who was addicted to bottle might have died due to over consumption of alcohol some time back.

Earlier Sivabalan was reported missing and he did not venture out from his house. However the police arrived at the scene after neighbours complained about the missing man and a bad stench emanating from his house.

"The alcoholic might have died at least four months back as the body was in a highly decomposed state which is being sent for postmortem", said the police.
