The Tamilnadu state unit of Bharthiya Janatha Party (BJP) has plans to stage Pro- NEET protests in all 32 districts of Tamilnadu to counter the allegations leveled against the party for failing the students of Tamilnadu, which resulted in the suicide of Ariyalur Anitha.
The protests would be held 49 locations in Tamilnadu spread over all the 32 districts and leaders including H. Raja, BJP National Executive member would take part in the planned protests.
The BJP which is on the defensive since Ariyalur Anitha's death sparked a wave of protests by students and political parties in Tamilnadu is hitting the streets to counter the anti-NEET sentiments with the avowed aim of driving home the "feasibility" of NEET for Tamilnadu students
It may be recalled the Tamilisai Soundarrarjan, BJP State President stood in for continuation of NEET and pointed an accusing finger at the opposition parties for indulging in negative politics a few days back.
