Women India Movement cadres stage agitation, demand withdrawal of NEET


Over 100 women cadres belonging to the women’s wing of SDPI party staged an anti-NEET agitation in front of the South Taluk office.



The agitators said that "The State and Central Governments have completely misled the student community with regard to NEET which has led to lot of chaos in Tamilnadu. The governments should take responsibility for Anita's death, who took the extreme step due to NEET".



District President, Farida Begum alleged the centre and state governments for NEET imbroglio and demanded that NEET should be withdrawn to facilitate rural students enter the portals of medical education in future.
