JACTO-GEO protests continue for the sixth day, despite HC indicting the ongoing strike.

Even as the Madras High Court has taken a serious view of the ongoing strike by JACTO-GEO as it entered the sixth day, the protesters unmindful of the warning has continued with their protests all over the state.

About a 1000 employees have been staging a sit in dharna in front of the collectorate and they fail to heed the warning of the police to give up the protests and disperse.

Pressing for their charter of demands including restoration of old pension scheme, regularization of services, implementation of 8th pay commission (pay hike) Government teachers and employees have hit the streets and staging various protests despite the court criticizing their protest in unambiguous manner.
