DMK approaches court seeking a direction to TN Governor to order vote of confidence in the floor of the assembly



A petition praying to order a vote of confidence motion by the TN Governor Vidyasagar Rao on the floor of the assembly has been filed in Madras High court.

In the petition filed on behalf of M.K. Stalin, DMK Working President it has been stated that since the ruling dispensation headed by CM Edapadi K Palanisamy has lost simple majority it is imperative to seek a vote of confidence in the floor of the assembly. 

The High court should direct TN Governor Vidyasagar Rao to order the vote confidence in the floor of the assembly in order to make the ruling AIADMK to prove its majority.
