Govt. employees strike gains strength as college teachers and court employees lend their support.


Even as the protests launched by JACTO-GEO entered the fifty day, the protesters today resorted to “opppari porattum” in which they bewailed their plight, and pressed for their charter of demands in front of the Collectorate.



The protests launched by Government employees and teachers have gained strength as College Teachers Associations and Court Employees Associations have lent their support and participated in the protest.

Police who swung into action have been detaining the protesters. The government employees and teachers belonging to JACTO-GEO, took to continuous protests pressing for their charter of demands.



Pressing for their charter of demands including restoration of old pension scheme, regularization of services, implementation of 8th pay commission the Government employees absented themselves from office work and have benefit resorting to various forms of protests.
