35 year old Man washed away in flash floods at a low level bridge



A 35-year-old man Gopinath of Sundakkamuthur area was washed away when he tried to cross a flooded low level bridge near Arumuga Gounder village. 

Fire and Rescue personnel who rushed to the spot launched a search operation and rescued the body which was found 100 meter away from the spot near Roja Nagar.

The deceased Gopinath is an employee of a private gas agency engaged in supplying cylinders to household. He is married to Kaleeswari and has two children named Goutham and Poongodi.

Due to incessant rains in the city and the suburbs, streams are in spate and the biker had thrown all caution to winds which resulted in this tragedy, say onlookers.
