Man found dead at Mettupalayam

The police are investigating the suspicious death of a 45-year-old differently-abled man from JJ Nagar on the Sirumugai Road in Mettupalayam, on Monday. His wife S. S. Srinivasan was a head loader in the vegetable market. His left part of the body was paralysed a few months ago. So he was appointed as watchman at the market.

On Monday, 15 bags of vegetables were found missing from the market. Sherif, and Saha alias Sahapudin – both from SM Nagar, Mettupalayam – beat Srinivasan using a stick.
