Bathing allowed in Kovai Kutralam falls after two day ban

Bathing of tourists is allowed in Kovai Kutralam falls, one of the main tourist attractions in the city, after two day ban enforced by the Forest Department.

The forest department has banned bathing owing to heavy flooding caused by the incessant rains experienced in Siruvani forests, a couple of days back.

Since the down flow has been even, Kovai Kutralam is reopened for tourists for the week end.
