A Panel discussion creating awareness on social issues was organized by Nilgiris District Police, in association with citizen forum of Coonoor.
The event was presided over by Murali Ramba, Superintendent of Police, Nilgiris District were various social issues including creating awareness on drug addiction among school children, awareness on parking behavior among auto drivers and private vehicle operators, the feasibility of multi-level parking and imparting road rules among school students were discussed.
Traffic Police, Jebarthinam of Citizen forum of Coonoor, President of Coonoor traders' association, Parameswaran, Hussain, of Mini bus operators association, Auto and truck drivers welfare association members, social activists and the citizens of Coonoor took part in panel discussion and presented their views.
