Tamilnadu Assembly Committee on Public Undertakings headed by S.Muthiah visited the Pykara Hydro electric project in Nilgiris district.
150 megawatt of power is being generated from the hydroelectric project in Nilgiris district suing the waters of Glamorgan dam. Since the power generation was started in 2005, about 265.94 million unit is being produced from the hydroelectric project.
Later the committee members inspected the Singara Power house.
