A public grievances day meeting was organized in the east zone of the City Corporation which was presided over by CCMC Commissioner Dr.K.Vijayakarthikeyan.
Eight petitions concerning non-functioning streets lights in wards 32, 57, 59 and 61, sewer problem in ward no 33, 37 and 50 dipping bore wells in 57th ward received by the Commissioner.
The City Corporation has introduced a mobile grievances redressal van which will travel to all the corporation areas and people can submit their petitions in the box placed in the van. Prompt action will be taken on the grievances thus deposited in the van.
Moreover the city denizens can submit their grievances petition in all the zonal officer after 4.30 pm every day.
