A dengue awareness campaign and distribution of Neela vembu decoction was carried out by Amman K.Arjun, Coimbatore South legislator in Kamarajapuram areas which comes under ward 22.
Amman K.Arjun distributed pamphlets and handbills to the residents of the area in which preventive measures to be carried out to check the spread dengue were enlisted.
CCMC Commissioner K. Vijayakarthikeyan, City Welfare officer Santhosh Kumar also took part in the campaign.
