Police arrest Saddam, the prime suspect in sensational Sasikumar murder case.


Police have made breakthrough in Sasikumar murder case by arresting Saddam one of the prime suspect in the sensational murder case.

Saddam, was hiding in a place near Saibaba colony, when police surrounded and arrested him.

Sasikumar, District Spokesperson for Hindu Munnani was hacked to death in September 22, 2016 near GN Mills, and violence broke out between two religious groups in the funeral.  Shops and business establishments downed shutters and panic stricken people remained indoors as riot like situation prevailed in GN Mills and neighboring areas for a couple of days.

The case was transferred to CB CID in March 2017 and the police have named Saddam, and Mubarak as the prime accused in the case and announced reward of Rs.2 lakh for vital information regarding their whereabouts.

Police are on the lookout for another suspect Mubarak in the case. The arrest of Saddam would help solve the case of sensational murder of Sasikumar, which shook the city last year.
