A Good Samaritan auto driver has handed over 60 sovereigns of gold jewels which he found on the road side to Police commissioner A.Amalraj, which made the commissioner to appreciate and a give a cash gift to the honest auto driver.
Muniappan, the auto driver of RS Puram was riding in his auto, when he saw a bag slipping out of the two wheeler and falling in the middle of the road. Muniappan collected the bag and when he opened in he was in for a great shock as the bag contained lot gold jewels.
Without hesitating for a moment, the Good Samaritan auto driver has reached the City Commissioner’s office and handed over the bag to the Police commissioner.
The Commissioner A.Amalraj who appreciated the humane act of the auto driver also gifted him Rs.1000 from his own pocket by way of appreciating his honesty.
