Nilgiris District Collector Innocent Divya has convened a consultative meeting in view of the Bharat Ratna MGR centenary year celebrations being planned for September 11 in the district.
Rajya Sabha MP K.R.Arjunan, K.Goplakrishnan MP, and state legislators took part in the meeting.
The collector ordered the officials to expedite works for the grand celebrations. Later she inaugurated the Government photo exhibition at Shanti Vijay Girls Higher secondary school and a medical camp for the benefit of general public.
Cardiological ENT, and Ophthalmological test were carried out in the camp and over 500 benefited by attending the camp.
