Theme of the workshop was to set standards for various minimally invasive cancer resection. Yesterday being the first day, live surgery on cancer of liver and pancreas was performed. Today, day two, live surgeries on Esophagus and Stomach and day three, colon rectum, uterus surgeries will be performed. Totally 15 operations have been planned to perform at GEM hospitals which will be telecasted live at Le Meridian through exclusively laid 3D transmission system. Also, entire live surgeries will be telecasted online globally. Eminent robotic surgeons Prof. Goatlieb USA. Prof. CN Tang Honking Prof Choi Korea, Prof Liu Rong China are participating in this workshop.
