Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner Katta Ravi Teja inspected development works on September 17, 2026 in North Zone Ward 12 and Ward 13, and also visited Maniyakarambalayam Corporation Higher Secondary School in Ward 19 to check breakfast scheme meal timings. He directed officials to prepare project estimates for stormwater drains at Nachathra Garden Odai in Udayampalayam, maintenance of the indoor stadium at Thirumalai Nagar, replacement of electric poles in Gandhi Nagar, and expansion of the connecting road near Chinnavedampatti-Udayampalayam junction. Assistant Commissioner Mohanasundari, engineers, ward members and other officials accompanied him.

As part of the inspection, the Commissioner visited Maniyakarambalayam Corporation Higher Secondary School under Ward 19 to check whether meals under the breakfast scheme were being served to students on time.
Following this, the Commissioner instructed officials to prepare a project estimate for setting up a stormwater drainage system at the Nachathra Garden Odai area in Udayampalayam, under Ward 13. He also directed officials to prepare an estimate for maintenance works at the indoor stadium located in Thirumalai Nagar, which falls under the same ward.
Subsequently, the Commissioner inspected the Gandhi Nagar area under Ward 12 to assess the feasibility of replacing electric poles there. He then inspected the connecting road expansion works near the Chinnavedampatti and Udayampalayam junction area.
Assistant Commissioner Mohanasundari, Executive Engineer Sathyamoorthy, ward members Sumathi and Ramamoorthy, Zonal Health Officer Murugan, Assistant Engineers Abishraj, Gopinath and Ganesan, Health Inspector Saranya, and several other Corporation officials were present during the inspection along with Thevadas.
