Spectrum Northern Lights School Students Shine in District-Level Competitions with Multiple Wins

Coimbatore: Students from Spectrum Northern Lights School have brought laurels to their institution by securing top positions in various district and inter-school competitions held recently. The school's multifaceted achievements span across art, chess, abacus, and fitness competitions, highlighting the diverse talents nurtured at the institution.

In a notable achievement, Grade 8 students Deekshidha, Harishini Riya, and Harithi Menon secured second place in the French Painting Competition, demonstrating their artistic prowess and creativity. The trio's performance in the competition has been widely appreciated by faculty and parents alike.

The school's chess contingent made a strong showing at the Inter-School District Level Chess Competition, with students displaying exceptional strategic thinking and sportsmanship. The junior team comprised 16 talented players from Grades 1 through 5, including R.P. Zhakaran, Kanya V., Rudra Ragesh, Pawan, Avinash K., Vivaan Karthick, Dev Anand, Chithveer Singh, S. Shivaay, Thiyaash, Siddharth Mahenderan, Paavan Prasad J., Jai Adhav N., Nithila Satheskumar, Vennila V., and Nikhilan Satheskumar.

The senior chess team featured 11 participants from Grades 6 to 8, including Rohit Bala, Rohan Bala, Hanumnth Sai C.S, Sanjay P., Nathish Atharva Y., Arssh Shariq, Keshav Prasad J., Rishaan Sharma, Sakshitha S., Bramhista B., and Aksith S. Their performance showcased advanced tactical skills and competitive spirit.

Individual achievements also marked the competition season. Varunramasamy from Grade 1 secured third place in the Color and Contest competition, displaying artistic talent at a young age. Meanwhile, Suhana from Grade 4 successfully completed Foundation Level 3 in the Regional SIP, Abacus, Brain Gym & Mental Arithmetic Competition, demonstrating exceptional computational skills and mental agility.

Aara from Grade 2 participated in a Fitness Competition, showcasing the school's commitment to physical wellness alongside academic excellence. Hanumnth from Grade 6 represented the school at the Chess Academy's Pollachi District Level Chess Tournament, further strengthening the institution's reputation in chess circles.
