Power Cut Scheduled in Kuppepalayam and 11 Other Areas on August 18

Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNEB) has announced a scheduled power supply disruption on August 18 from 9 AM to 4 PM due to maintenance work at the Kuppepalayam sub-station. Residents in 12 areas have been advised to make necessary arrangements in advance.

The seven-hour power outage will affect Kuppepalayam, Onnibaalayam, C.K.Baalayam, Kallibaalayam, Kattambatti, Sengaalibaalayam, Karichibaalayam, Vadugabaalayam, Kathavukarai, Mondikkaliputhur, Moonukatiyur, and Rangappagavundanputhur areas. The maintenance work is essential for improving the reliability and efficiency of power supply in these regions.

TNEB officials have requested residents and commercial establishments in the affected areas to plan their activities accordingly and make necessary arrangements for the power disruption period. The seven-hour outage may cause inconvenience to daily activities, particularly for businesses and households dependent on continuous power supply.

The electricity board has also stated that if maintenance work is completed earlier than scheduled or in case of emergency restoration work, power supply may be restored before the announced time. Residents are advised to keep electronic devices charged and make alternative arrangements for essential services during the power cut hours.
